Installation Guide

Installation information for IBM® Integration Bus is provided in the online information center.

See Installation for reference information about system requirements, including operating systems, hardware, and additional software and memory requirements.

The Installation and Installing topics provide general preparation, planning, and security information for all platforms. The topics also provide installation instructions for distributed systems, common problems and solutions, and the names and locations of the installation log files. Verification programs on Linux on x86 and Windows are also provided.

The Installation and Installing topics do not cover configuration or customization tasks on any operating system; they describe only how you install the product components onto your computers. When you have completed installation on distributed systems, you must initialize the local environment before you can create or configure resources. This task is described in Setting up a command environment. Environment initialization is not required on z/OS. For information about designing and configuring your broker environment on all systems, see Configuring brokers for test and production environments.

The topics within the Installation and Installing sections of the online information center are also available in English and supported languages within the downloadable version of the information center from the IBM Integration Bus Library web page.
