  • Pivot tables are published as XML which is rendered as a table when accessed over the Web.
  • Charts are published as XML which is rendered as an image when accessed over the Web.
  • Trees are published as PNG graphic files.
  • Text output is published as preformatted HTML. (By default, most Web browsers use a fixed-pitch font for preformatted text.)

Content to Publish. You can export all objects in the Viewer, all visible objects, or only selected objects.

Publish Pivot Tables As. The following options are available:

  • Interactive. Tables are dynamic objects that can be manipulated over the Web to obtain different views of the data. For example, a table containing sales data broken down by region and industry could be pivoted to transpose or nest the data in rows and columns, or "sliced" into layers so values for only one region or industry are visible at a time. Rather than simply view the static results of an analysis, Web users are empowered to manipulate the data and draw their own conclusions.
  • Static. Tables are static and cannot be manipulated after publishing.

Note: Support for viewing IBM SPSS Statistics Web Reports over the Web requires release 3.5 or higher of IBM SPSS Collaboration and Deployment Services.
