Final Step: Generating the List

After entering the information you want on the Mountable Tape Volume Selection Entry Panel, you are ready to generate the list. Press the ENTER key. ISMF displays the volumes that meet your selection criteria. Figure 1 shows a completed Mountable Tape Volume List.

If you entered information in more than one field on a selection entry panel, the list contains only the volumes meeting all of the specified parameters.

You can sort and tailor a list to your needs with the View and Sort options on the selection panel. You can also tailor a list after you have created it. See Using the Data Set or Volume List for more details.
