Securing the Sametime Bandwidth Manager

After setting up the IBM® Sametime® Bandwidth Manager, protect your deployment by securing access to the server.

  1. Configuring the Bandwidth Manager to use TLS encryption
    If the IBM Sametime Media Manager is configured to use Transport Layer Security (TLS), you must also configure TLS on the server hosting IBM Sametime Bandwidth Manager.
  2. Installing a signed certificate for the Bandwidth Manager
    The Bandwidth Manager installs with SSL enabled, using a self-signed certificate from IBM. If you want to use a different certificate, you can import it into the keystore yourself.
