You can view a timeline of the commands that the Command
Flow Collector has collected. The commands are grouped by program,
then displayed in rows or columns that represent the different platforms
and applications, regions, or Task Control Block (TCB) modes that
were used.
About this task
To view a command flow timeline for a transaction, you
select the required transaction task ID from a command flow run. You
can show whether the transaction switches between regions or between
TCB modes.
Procedure
- Use one of the following procedures to display the required
transaction task ID in a command flow run.
- In the User Command Flow view, expand the tree structure
to display the transaction task ID for the command flow run you require.
- From a view that shows the required transaction resource,
for example the Transactions view, right-click
the required transaction and click Show Command Flow runs.
Click one of the following options, as required:
- All user IDs
- Current User ID
- Select User IDs. Select the required user
IDs from the resulting dialog, then click OK.
The command flow runs for the selected transaction are displayed
in the
Show Resources view, listed by user ID.
Expand
the tree structure in the Show Resources view
to show the transaction task ID for the command flow run you require.
- Right-click the task ID of the required command flow run,
click Visualization, then click one of the
following options:
- Application Switches. Display the programs
in rows or columns that represent the program and applications, with
arrows to show the switches.
- Region Switches. Display the programs
in rows or columns that represent the regions, with arrows to show
the switches.
- TCB Switches. Display the programs
in rows or columns that represent the TCB modes in use, with arrows
to show the switches.
