If you are upgrading FileNet® P8 from
version 5.2.0, stop all Content Platform Engine-related
services and applications and do a backup before doing the upgrade.

Locate and navigate to the version 5.2.0

and configuration files that should be backed up before upgrading.

- Back up the Content Platform Engine object
store databases, the global configuration database, and configuration

- If you are doing a migration upgrade, make a copy of the
entire configuration profiles directory.
