Migrating from Teamworks 6
To migrate from Teamworks 6, run the Upgrade Readiness Check tool to analyze existing process assets, plan your project, and then use the upgrade utilities that are provided with IBM® Business Process Manager V8.5.6 to complete the migration.

Before you begin artifact migration, install and configure IBM Business Process Manager V8.5.6 on a different computer, or in a different directory on the same computer as your previous version. - Preparing artifacts for migration

Configure the target IBM Business Process Manager V8.5.6 for migrating from Teamworks 6. - Exporting artifacts from Teamworks 6
After you migrate the development environment, you must export the artifacts to be able to import them in to the target environment. - Importing and refactoring artifacts into the target environment
After you export the artifacts from Teamworks 6, import them into the IBM Business Process Manager V8.5.6 environment. - Updating runtime configuration values
After you import and refactor your process assets, update your runtime configuration values. - Mapping the Teamworks 6 artifacts to IBM Business Process Manager V8.5.6 artifacts
Create an instance mapping file on the target Process Server computer that maps each Teamworks 6 artifact to an equivalent construct in IBM Business Process Manager V8.5.6. - Completing the migration and restarting the environment
Run the upgrade command again, this time using the instance mapping file that you created on the target Process Server computer. The upgrade command installs process applications from IBM Process Center and migrates process instances to complete the migration.
