Worksheet for deploying the web application on Oracle WebLogic Server

Work with your web application server administrator to gather the information that you need to deploy IBM® Content Navigator to your Oracle WebLogic Server environment. The IBM Content Navigator Configuration and Deployment Tool requires that you enter values prepared in advance. The worksheet is a useful place to put these values.

Deploy the Web Application

Parameter	Description	Value
Deployable EAR file	The fully qualified path of the web application EAR file. Important: The EAR file must be generated by running the IBM Content Navigator Configuration and Deployment Tool. On AIX®, the default path is /opt/IBM/ECMClient/configure/deploy/navigatorEAR.ear. On Linux, the default path is /opt/IBM/ECMClient/configure/deploy/navigatorEAR.ear. On Linux for System z®, the default path is /opt/IBM/ECMClient/configure/deploy/navigatorEAR.ear. On Windows, the default path is C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\ECMClient\configure\deploy\navigatorEAR.ear. It is recommended that you use the default value.
Web application name	The name to display for the application on the web application server (for example, in the administrative console). See your web application server documentation for naming restrictions. The default name is `navigator`.
Deployment script	The fully qualified path of the deployment script, deployWLApplication.py. On AIX, the default path is /opt/IBM/ECMClient/configure/scripts/deployWLApplication.py. On Linux, the default path is /opt/IBM/ECMClient/configure/scripts/deployWLApplication.py. On Linux for System z, the default path is /opt/IBM/ECMClient/configure/scripts/deployWLApplication.py. On Windows, the default path is C:\Program Files (x86)\ibm\ECMClient\configure\scripts\deployWLApplication.py. It is recommended that you use the default value.
Temporary directory	The fully qualified path to a temporary directory that the IBM Content Navigator Configuration and Deployment Tool can use to run the task. You must have read and write access for the directory. The default directory is the \configure\tmp subdirectory of the IBM Content Navigator installation directory. It is recommended that you use the default value.
