Enabling users to add and transfer workflows through IBM Content Navigator

You can configure one or more of the IBM® FileNet® Content Manager repositories in your environment to enable users to add and transfer workflows to your workflow system from the IBM Content Navigator web client.

About this task

You must complete this task if you plan to use predefined workflows in IBM Content Navigator.

You can also complete this task if you want to enable users to add custom workflow definitions to the repository.

Procedure

To enable users to add workflow definitions to the repository:

  1. Open the administration tool in the web client.
  2. Click Repositories.
  3. Open and connect to the IBM FileNet Content Manager repository where you want users to add workflow definitions.
  4. On the Configuration Parameters tab, set Display workflow definition class to Yes. This setting enables users to add workflow definitions to the repository.
  5. Ensure that the repository is associated with a desktop. Desktop users must have add privileges on the repository to add workflow definitions.
