register
void register(InterruptObject odi) throws InterruptRegistrationException
Registers anInterruptObject
with the request running on the current thread of execution. TheInterruptObject
is placed on a stack, and should be removed by callingderegister
when the caller has finished processing.- Parameters:
odi
- TheInterruptObject
to register.- Throws:
InterruptRegistrationException
- Thrown if the interrupt object could not be registered. The cause (if known) will be linked to this exception.
-
deregister
void deregister(InterruptObject odi)
Deregisters anInterruptObject
from the current thread of execution. No errors are generated if theInterruptObject
is not found in the stack for this thread.- Parameters:
odi
- TheInterruptObject
to deregister.
-
isODISupported
boolean isODISupported()
Indicates if the InterruptibleThreadInfrastructure function is supported within the current runtime environment.- Returns:
true
ifInterruptObject
registration is supported on the current thread, false
ifInterruptObject
registration is not supported on the current thread.
