DB2 Version 9.7 for Linux, UNIX, and Windows

Removing an event monitor

Use the contents pane of the Control Center to remove an event monitor. Only event monitors that are Stopped can be removed.

About this task

Removing an event monitor removes its records from the system tables. However the tables containing trace information are still accessible by querying the event monitor tables.

  1. From the Control Center, expand the object tree until you find the Event Monitors folder.
  2. Click the Event Monitors folder. Existing event monitors with output written to tables are displayed in the pane on the right side of the window (the contents pane).
  3. Right-click the event monitor that you want in the contents pane and select Remove from the pop-up menu. A window opens where you confirm your selection.
