Removing CLI keywords

Use the Settings page of the CLI Settings notebook to remove configuration keywords for a data source.

About this task

  1. Open the CLI Settings notebook.
    1. In the Configuration Assistant: Select the database that you want to work with.
    2. From the Selected menu, click CLI Settings. The CLI Settings notebook opens.
    1. In the Configuration Assistant advanced view: Click either the Databases or Data Sources tab. The selected page opens.
    2. Select the database or data source that you want to work with.
    3. From the Selected menu, click CLI Settings. The CLI Settings notebook opens.
  2. Select the configuration keyword that you want to delete. The parameter is highlighted and usage information is displayed in the Hint box.
  3. Click Remove. The selected item is removed from the Keyword list.
  4. Click OK to confirm the deletion and close the CLI Settings notebook. Click Cancel to cancel the deletion. The keywords are returned to the list.
