Package com.ibm.streams.operator.control.variable Description

Collection of utilities and generic MBeans that can be used to represent control variables in the Job Control Plane (JCP).

Applications create MBeans in the JCP to represent control variables.
It is recommended that operators create control variables using these methods, which hide the JMX interactions, rather than registering the MBeans directly.

• ControlPlaneContext.createStringControlVariable(String, boolean, String) for a String control variable. This will result in a StringControlVariableMXBean being registered in the JCP.
• ControlPlaneContext.createLongControlVariable(String, boolean, long) for a String control variable. This will result in a LongControlVariableMXBean being registered in the JCP.
• ControlPlaneContext.createDoubleControlVariable(String, boolean, double) for a String control variable. This will result in a DoubleControlVariableMXBean being registered in the JCP.
• ControlPlaneContext.createBooleanControlVariable(String, boolean, boolean) for a String control variable. This will result in a BooleanControlVariableMXBean being registered in the JCP.
