Resource Metric Viewer

You can dynamically create reports by using the Resource Metric Viewer.

You can quickly create time series performance reports by using the Resource Metric Viewer.

You can select an available model from the Resource Metric Viewer and from this model, you can select:
Resources
The set of resources to be included within the report.
Metrics
The set of metrics to be included in the report.
Time Interval
The time interval the report is to cover.
Granularity
The time granularity of the data that is being displayed.

Alternatively, you can create a report based on an event from the Active Event List on the Resource Metric Viewer. The Resource Metric Viewer constructs the report charting the performance of the entity that is causing the event.

Note: Resource Metric Viewer is available for Tivoli Netcool Performance Manager Wireless component only.

Models that work with the Resource Metric Viewer

Raw and combined models work with the Resource Metric Viewer.

The Resource Metric Viewer can process both simple and composite models.
Note: Busy Hour and Summary models have limited support with Resource Metric Viewer. Only default Busy Hour and Summary models are supported.

Resource Metric Viewer access is restricted to the following roles:

  • biServiceUser
  • chartAdministrator
  • chartCreator
  • chartViewer
