Patterns that use agent mode licensing are enabled to use
PVU tracking. To disable PVU tracking, use the workload console.
Before you begin
- Deploy a pattern that uses agent mode licensing. For more information
about what patterns use agent mode licensing, see Licenses for patterns.
- Log in to the workload console.
You must also be assigned the Cloud group administrator role
or the Hardware administration with Manage hardware resources (Full
permission) role. For more information about user roles, see
Managing system usersProcedure
- Go to product licenses by clicking .
- Expand IBM Software Catalog product licenses.
- For products that are deployed, the number of deployed
instances is displayed in the In the cloud now field.
To disable PVU tracking for a product, you must work with its part
number. Find the product that you want to disable PVU tracking for
and click Add part number under the In
the cloud now field.
- In the dialog box that is displayed, select the virtual
machine and then select Disabled in the Tracking column.
Results
PVU tracking is disabled for the selected virtual machine.
