Poll interval for callout messages

You can set a poll interval to configure how long each thread sleeps or waits before it retrieves the callout requests.

The poll interval is the wait time of the thread between the following events:
  • the end of retrieval processing for a callout request (not including the web service invocation)
  • the invocation of retrieval processing for the next callout request on the same tpipe to which the thread is dedicated
Your specified setting for the poll interval applies only when an error occurs. The error could be caused by web service timeout, communication errors with IMS Connect, or other factors.

Use the SOAP Gateway management utility to specify the poll interval.
