Before you archive or restore data, review the imported
access definitions to ensure that they meet your business needs. Use
the Access Definition Editor to view and modify the relationships,
selection criteria, and other characteristics.
Before you begin
Connect to the InfoSphere® Optim™ Data Growth Solution directory
for the production database. Click . Select the production
database alias and click Connect.
Procedure
- Open InfoSphere Optim Data Growth Solution.
- Click .
- In the Identifier tree, expand the Access Definition node.
Double click Access Definition, or click the
plus (+) sign that is next to Access Definition in
the Identifier tree.
- Double-click the schema owner name (for IBM-supplied access
definitions, the schema owner name is MAXIMO)
in the list of Access Definitions in the Identifier tree.
- Double-click the access definition that you want to review
in the Access Definitions pane.
- Review the information presented on the tabs in the
access definition editor. The tabs provide a means to alter the start
table, change deletion criteria, and so on. Right-click on a table
name to view and modify the columns included, the selection criteria,
and archive actions. Refer to IBM® Optim Users Guide for detailed
information about editing an access definition.
- Optional: Modify the access definition if the
defaults do not satisfy your business needs.
- Save the changes.
