The following sections describe the system administration tasks that you will need to
perform when configuring Application Builder. For initial system

Configuring the User Registry for Application Builder with WebSphere Application Server Liberty profile
The users that are authenticated by IBM
WebSphere Application Server Liberty profile must match
the users in the data store that populates the Application Builderuser entity, regardless of the type of data store that you use. The configuration
for WebSphere Application Server Liberty profile is
located in the
installation_directory/WEX/AppBuilder/wlp/usr/servers/AppBuilder/server.xml
file.
Configuring the Data Store and User Options for the user Entity
By default, the user entity is populated by the user
collection data store and contains the data-explorer-admin administrator user. For
the initial setup of the user entity, add your administrator users and, if
necessary, make required changes to the data store.
Enqueueing Users for a Collection Data Store
If the user entity is populated by a collection data store, when users
are authenticated by WebSphere Application Server Liberty profile, they are enqueued in the search
collection by default. If you disable that option in the user entity configuration,
you need to manually enqueue the users in the search collection.
Restoring Application Builder Configuration
The Application Builder contains two types of configuration data: System Configuration
and Application Configuration. The following sections describe how to restore both types of
configuration data.
