IBM® Watson Explorer Engine enables you to optionally display query results in their original document context and format, known as rich preview. Displaying rich preview results in a browser is not supported in Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE) 6.0, though all other Data Explorer Engine features are IE6-compatible.
In order to take advantage of this capability, you must identify the MIME types of the documents that you want to be able to see in their original formats (see Search Collection Settings for Converting), ensure that the display for Watson Explorer Engine applications is based on the Working with Three Column Displays, and add the rich-preview option to the Document Features setting in the Results - > Document section of your display.
