Before you develop routines with the workbench, there are
some setup steps that you should complete. Also, read information
about which types of routines are supported for development and what
authorities and privileges are required.
To build external SQL stored procedures that target DB2® for z/OS®,
you must install and configure a C compiler on the server. For more
