Viewing the current license usage

You can use the Manage Users page to see at a glance the number of licenses that are assigned and the number available.

About this task

The license widget on the Manage Users page displays the number of available licenses for each type. Note the following points about how the licenses of each type are used:

Authorized user licenses are assigned to specific users and are not included in the number of available floating licenses.
Floating and token licenses if any are assigned automatically; you do not need to manually assign users to them.
Floating licenses are not included in the number of token licenses.
If you have token licenses, all floating licenses are assigned before any token licenses are assigned.

Procedure

To see current license usage, click Manage Security > Manage Users to display the Manage Users page.
