Error description
You work with IBM SPSS Statistics 20 and created a Production Job *.SPJ file. After running the job you locate the Session Journal file Statistics.jnl on your computer to check what syntax commands have been executed in the single SPSS sessions. You notice when you run syntax commands 'normally' all commands in the Journal file are displayed correctly. However, all syntax commands run via production job are displayed without the last character of any row in the session journal. For example the commands displayed in statistics.jnl file executed by production job looks like the one below in the Journal. As you can see it does not only affect the command terminator dot, it does also affect variable names (jobca instead of jobcat) and syntax keywords (MAXIMU instead of MAXIMUM): *> *>FREQUENCIES VARIABLES=educ jobca *> /FORMAT=NOTABL *> /STATISTICS=STDDEV MINIMUM MAXIMU *> /HISTOGRA *> /ORDER=ANALYSIS
