  • When deploying an applications with a large number (500 or
more) of Web Services Description Language (.wsdl) files it
takes over an hour for deploy to complete.

*                      large number of metadata files(such     *

It takes a long time to populate the configuration repository
with metadata files during an Enterprise Application install,
when the application contains a large number of metadata
files(such as wsdl files).

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The code was modified to improve performance in application
install procedure.

APAR PK93551 is currently targeted for inclusion in Service
Level (Fix Pack) 6.0.2.37 of WebSphere Application Server
V6.0.1.
