Error description

When deploying an applications with a large number (500 or
more) of Web Services Description Language (.wsdl) files it
takes over an hour for deploy to complete.

*                      Enterprise Application containing a     *
*                      large number of metadata files(such     *
*                      as wsdl files).                         *

It takes a long time to populate the configuration repository
with metadata files during an Enterprise Application install,
when the application contains a large number of metadata
files(such as wsdl files).

Problem conclusion

The code was modified to improve performance in application
install procedure.

APAR PK74363 is currently targeted for inclusion in Service
Level (Fix Pack) 6.1.0.23 of WebSphere Application Server V6.1
for z/OS.
