  ABSTRACT:
  With PJ40241 applied, a WebSphere MQ sender channel may restart
  continously if the messages transmitted have a sequence error.

  COMMENTS:
  PJ40241 changed the behavior of sender channels by entering
  retry when a remote receiver channel stopped normally. However,
  when a channel starts, then immediately stops due to an error
  with the message sequence number, the z/TPF sender channel
  immediately restarts. It then immediately hits the message
  sequence error. This creates a looping start channel condition.
  

Problem conclusion

• SOLUTION:
  The sender channel has been changed to not restart immediately
  when it detects a message sequence error. The sender channel
  will instead enter retry mode and will wait the short retry
  interval before restarting.
