APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• This happens when the underlying database table is locked by the
  database, this can happen for instance when a flow is executing
  that inserts data into this table. The mining flow runs in the
  background and inserts records into the table, and the user
  calls the table sampling that performs a "select" on the table
  in the foreground. So the GUI blocks until the database unlocks
  the table, in this case when the "insert" has finished when the
  flow execution has finished.

Problem conclusion

• Problem was first fixed in version 9.7 fix pack 7.
  At a minimum, this fix should be applied on the Design studio.
  
  After applying this fix, the sampling function in the context
  menu of table target operator in mining flow will work well.
  

Temporary fix

• Interim fix 9.7.2.v20110511 contains this APAR fix..
