Problem happens after install of ptf UI19842, CSQ3SSI2 is
leaking x40 bytes of subpool 229 stack storage.

Problem summary

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Abend S878-0C may occur in address      *
*                      space connected to MQ after applying PE *
*                      PTF UI19842 as storage subpool 229 is   *
*                      depleted.                               *

* RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

After UI19842 CSQ3SSI2 leaks x40 bytes of subpool 229 stack
storage for every SSI broadcast. This is particularly a
problem for long running address spaces which may eventually
run out of private storage and abend S878-0C, indicating
a short on storage condition (SOS).

Problem conclusion

  • CSQ3SSI2 will now free the private storage it has acquired after
it is no longer needed.
