* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Abend S878-0C may occur in address      *
*                      space connected to MQ as storage        *
*                      subpool 229 is depleted.                *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
****************************************************************
CSQ3SSI2 leaks x40 bytes of subpool 229 stack storage for every
SSI broadcast. This is particularly a problem for long running
address spaces which may eventually run out of private storage
and abend S878-0C, indicating a short on storage condition
(SOS).

Problem conclusion

  • CSQ3SSI2 will now free the private storage it has acquired after
it is no longer needed.
