Error description
The "When will Tasks go Overdue" chart in the My Team Performance dashboard does not always work properly. In specific time zones, and/or with Daylight Savings Time enabled, the chart may not display the correct set of tasks that will go overdue, because of incorrect calculation of the difference between the due time and the current time for tasks.

Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: Users of BPM Express, BPM Standard, and * * BPM Advanced. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The "When will Tasks go Overdue" * * chart in the My Team Performance * * dashboard does not always work * * properly. In specific time zones, * * and/or with Daylight Savings Time * * enabled, the chart may not display * * the correct set of tasks that will go * * overdue, because of incorrect * * calculation of the difference between * * the due time and the current time for * * tasks. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** The bar graph on the "When will Tasks go Overdue" chart, and the task list table that is populated when clicking on a bar on the graph, retrieve timestamp values from the database representing the "due times" for tasks. Those times are stored in the database based on the server's time zone. While the task list table displayed due dates based on the server time zone, the graph displayed due dates based on the browser time zone. As a result, clicking on a bar (date) in the graph could fail to display the correct set of tasks for the date corresponding to the clicked bar, if the due time fell on different dates for the two time zones. Daylight Savings Time offsets could also influence this behavior.
Problem conclusion
Changing the bar graph to render based on the server time zone (for consistency with the database and the task list table) resolves the issue. An interim fix for Business Process Manager Version 8.0.1.0 has been published to Fix Central. Please refer to the separate file that is automatically downloaded with the interim fix for prerequisite information and installation/uninstallation instructions. Note that this interim fix also contains the fix for APAR JR45100 (http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg1JR45100); there is not a separate interim fix for that APAR.
