Problem summary
**************************************************************** USERS AFFECTED: All users of the Business Space interface to WebSphere Service Registry and Repository V7.5 and V8.0 **************************************************************** PROBLEM SUMMARY: The following issues were discovered with the WSRR Business Space Detail widget: 1) If a subscription is made to a lifecycle transition with a name that is duplicated in other lifecycles, if you then edit that subscription a warning is given: "The administrator has disabled subscriptions to one of more life cycle transitions that this subscription specifies." 2) If a change is made to the WSRR Configuration Profile to add or remove a life cycle transition, the change is not reflected in the Detail widget and the following error is seen: The following widget had an error: ID: M0AFB7D16E6DCF3DC729CFFE706D4EB000064 (Service Registry Detail); Class: com.ibm.sr.widgets.detail.DetailEditPanelSubscriptions; Method: create... Method: createRows - Message: The following widget had an error: ID: M0AFB7D16E6DCF3DC729CFFE706D4EB000064 (Service Registry Detail); Class: com.ibm.sr.widgets.detail.DetailEditPanelSubscriptions; Method: createRows Error Details: Unable to get value of the property 'name': object is null or undefined ({"message":"Unable to get value of the property 'name': object is null or undefined","description":"Unable to get value of the property 'name': object is null or undefined","number": -2146823281,"name":"TypeError"}) 3) For objects which are auto-governed into a certain life cycle you are presented with all the other irrelevant life cycles when editing the Subscription settings for that object type in the Detail Widget
Problem conclusion
The following changes were made: 1) If an object is auto-governed into a particular lifecycle via the configurable modifier, then now it is only possible to configure subscriptions to transitions in that lifecycle 2) If changes are made to the lifecycle model these will now be reflected correctly in the Detail widget This fix is targeted at WSRR V7.5.0.4 and V8.0.0.2.
