Error description

  'Tape_Drives.Address' attribute is converted from Hexadecimal to
  Decimal when the event is sent to from HUB TEMS to event server
  (TEC or Omnibus)
  Tape Drive Address is correctly shown as HEX in TEP but when it
  is converted to $Tape_Drives.Address$ before sending  to
  event server, the same Address is shown as DEC.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• The "TAPE_DRIVES.ADDRESS" attribute is converted from
  hexadecimal to decimal when passed to IBM Tivoli
  NetCool/OMNIbus.  The actual problem is a display issue. Certain
  attributes are specified to be displayed as hexadecimal and this
  is not happening. All values are stored internally as fixed
  point integers and must be correctly displayed when presented to
  the end user.
  

Problem conclusion

• The code has been changed to correctly display hexadecimal
  attributes.
  
  The fix for this APAR is contained in the following maintenance
