Error description
If you are specifying schema names for an SQL Server database using either the Profile Management Tool (PMT) or the WAS administration console WSRR deployment wizard, they are currently restricted to a maximum length of 8 characters. SQL Server supports a length of 128 characters.

Problem summary
**************************************************************** USERS AFFECTED: All users of WebSphere Service Registry and Repository Server Version 7.5.0 and 8.0.0 **************************************************************** PROBLEM SUMMARY: If you are using the profile management tool to create/augment a stand-alone server profile or the admin console deployment wizard you will be prompted for database configuration parameters. If you are using an SQL Server database, when you are prompted to provide a schema name, you will not be able to enter more then 8 characters. SQL Server allows schema names to be up to 128 characters long so the current length limit is overly restrictive.
Problem conclusion
The profile management tool wizard and admin console deployment wizard have been amended to allow you to enter a schema name that is up to 128 characters long. Please note that you must unaugment and re-augment existing deployment manager profiles for this change to take effect in the WAS admin console deployment wizard. If you create a new deployment manager profile, it will contain the change.
