Error description

  • The aixDataProvider-61 process might core dump after receiving
    an ODM error.  The
    <hostname>_px_aixDataProvider-61_<timestamp>_01.log might have
    one of these two messages:

Local fix

Problem summary

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The aixDataProvider-61 process might
    * core dump after receiving an Object Datanbase Manager (ODM)
    * error.
    *************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION: Apply 6.2.2.2-TIV-ITM_AIX_PREM-IF0005 or
    * 6.2.2.2-TIV-ITM_VIOS_PREM-IF0004.
    *************************************************************
    Interim Fixes 6.2.2.2-TIV-ITM_AIX_PREM-IF0005 and
    6.2.2.2-TIV-ITM_VIOS_PREM-IF0004 resolve the problem by
    correctly handling the ODM error.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The fix for this APAR will be contained in the following
    maintenance packages:
