Error description
Brute force option is supposed to be used when one doesn't want uninstaller to keep tracking of reference count to related sub-products. The 8 version of Global Security Kit(GSK) comes as a sub-product of DB2. Performing brute force uninstallation forcing deletion of GSK 8 leaving its registry keys. Cause of that behavior lies in db2NewRegHKLM.txt file, which is used in phase of registry clean-up, it contains keys to be deleted. Wrong GSK version was saved in the file.
Local fix
db2NewRegHKLM.txt file can be modified with correct version of GSK.
