Error description

• When using SSH/Telnet into Linux/Solaris system to start the
  server in the foreground or background an ANR9999D message is
  displayed either at the console or in the dsmserv.err log:
       ANR9999D Error reading from standard input; console input
  daemon terminated.

  This error still occurs when the server is started with the
  -quiet option.

  1) APAR IC42239 originally addressed this issue and was fixed at
  TSM 5.3.  The fix did not make it into the TSM 6.1 code.
  2) This message has no adverse affect. The message can be

Local fix

• ssh to the server to get a console, then start the server in the
