This document provides detailed steps to place a PTF order using Fix Central.
Resolving the problem
To use Fix Central, registration must be completed at the following Web site:

Step 1: Select Product Group System i and Product IBM i, i5/OS, and OS/400.
Step 2: Identify Fixes.
Choose the release
Check the PTFs from list to order
Note: You can choose to select all or select 1 or more.
Fill in the fixes separated by commas:
or separated by white spaces:
Select 1 or more from the list of fixes.
Note: If more than one release is noted, the user can use the Refine results option to refine the list to a specific release. However, the release can be either the OS level or a product level.
Use the Text search to find PTFs for specific products, errors, releases, devices, and so on. The list that will be displayed will be a combination of the group and individual fixes lists.
Step 3: Downloading Fixes.
