Error description

  • A disk I/O may fail if a node is removed from an SVC cluster
    while the AIX image is sending I/O to the SVC node.  This error
    will only occur with the AIX default PCM and SVC devices.
    

Local fix

Problem summary

Problem conclusion

  • Modified AIX PCM to better handle the SCSI Long Busy status
    that is returned when a node is removed from the cluster.
