  • Using clusterconf -r and specifying a 3rd party disk
fails
with:
clusterconf: Could not register repository disk with
Storage Framework:
A file or directory in the path name does not exist.

Local fix

Problem summary


    

  • The clusterconf -r <repository disk> would not work
in case of 3rd party disk.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The clusterconf -r <3rd party disk> does not work
because the disk was not getting registered with
Storage Framework before reading the configuration
data from it.

The solution is to register it prior to
accessing it.
