PM66809: A PREVIOUS POST INSTALL CONFIG ACTION ASSUMES THE EXISTENCE OF THE ADMINISTRATIVE CONSOLE

Error description

When starting the server after applying service the server will
fail to start and upon inspecting applyPTF.out, a message statin
config action PM58377.xml has failed as the file
WAS_HOME/systemApps/isclite.ear/isclite.war/WEB-INF/console-
defs.idx could not be found.

A config action which was added in 7.0.0.23 assumed that the
administrative console is installed when trying to access a
file specific for the administrative console. When starting a
server after a runtime refresh, an error would appear
in the applyPTF.out log saying it cannot access a file called
console-defs.idx

Problem conclusion

The config action was modified to make sure the file exists
before acting upon it.

APAR PM66809 is currently targeted for inclusion in
WebSphere Application Server V7.0 Fix Pack 7.0.0.25.
