RNTO (Rename To)

The RNTO IBM® i FTP server subcommand specifies the new file name when renaming files on the FTP server. It must immediately follow an RNFR subcommand, which specified the file name to be changed.

FTP server subcommand

RNTO filename

filename: The name to which the file you want renamed.

Note: The IBM i operating system cannot rename a file to a different file system.
