HELP (Getting Help from a Remote System)

The HELP IBM® i FTP server subcommand displays information about FTP server subcommands.

FTP server subcommand

HELP [subcommand]

subcommand

The name of the server subcommand that you want information about. For example, HELP ADDM provides help information about how to add a member to a physical file on the IBM i operating system.

To determine the syntax of the ADDV subcommand that is used by the system, use the server subcommand:

HELP ADDV
