Clearing resources in javaws cache

After you upgrade IBM® Cloud Pak System Software, you must clear resources in javaws cache to ensure that IBM Cloud Pak System Software Monitoring Portal can open properly.

Procedure

  1. Go to the JRE installation directory on the computer where you want to open the IBM Cloud Pak System Software Monitoring Portal and run the following command to open the Java Control Panel: 
    javaws -viewer
    The Java Control Panel window is displayed.
  2. On the General page, click View in the Temporary Internet Files section. The Java Cache Viewer window is displayed.
  3. From the Show list, select Resources. Resources are listed in the table.
  4. Select all resources listed in the table and click Remove selected resources to remove them.
  5. Click Close to close the Java Cache Viewer window.
  6. On the Security page of the Java Control Panel window, click Certificates. The Certificates window is displayed.
  7. Select all certificates on the User page and click Remove to remove these certificates.
  8. Click Close to close the Certificates window.
