IBM Cloud Private for OpenShift Container Platform pattern

IBM Cloud Pak System is the fastest way to deploy, manage and move application environments across hybrid clouds. By capturing applications as patterns, you have a seamless path to move the apps across hybrid environments without any change. IBM Cloud Pak System simplifies and automates these tasks and processes to accelerate application delivery, lower costs and reduce errors.

IBM® and Red Hat have partnered to provide a joint solution that uses IBM Cloud Private and OpenShift. You can deploy IBM certified software containers running on IBM Cloud Private on to Red Hat OpenShift.

When you install IBM Cloud Private with OpenShift, IBM Cloud Private provides the IBM Cloud Private experience, management, and operations for applications and uses OpenShift's Kubernetes and Docker registry that is already installed by Red Hat. Similar to IBM Cloud Private, OpenShift is a container platform that is built on top of Kubernetes. You can install IBM Cloud Private with OpenShift by using the IBM Cloud Private installer for OpenShift.

IBM Cloud Private for OpenShift Container Platform pattern enables the IBM Cloud Private with OpenShift Container platform to run in IBM Cloud Pak System, which efficiently runs workloads, manages all integrated components, monitors the health of the system, and administers and manages application deployments.
