Frequently, this error message means that the InfoSphere Information Analyzer database DSN on the engine is not configured correctly. You define the IADB DSN in the Analysis Settings workspace of the IBM InfoSphere Information Server console. The DSN information is stored in the Metadata Server. When a job runs, the information is passed to the PX Engine. If the engine is on a remote computer, the DSN must be defined on that computer as well.
