Checking the status of IBM WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment (stand-alone installation)

In a WebSphere® Application Server stand-alone installation, use the serverStatus command to check the status of the application server startup.

What to do next

When an application server is starting up, even when the status returned by the serverStatus command indicates that the application server is STARTED, it is not ready for use by IBM® InfoSphere® Information Server until all InfoSphere Information Server applications have completed initialization.
