SAS Support

These environment variables are concerned with InfoSphere® DataStage® interaction with SAS.

APT_HASH_TO_SASHASH
Set the APT_HASH_TO_SASHASH environment variable so that all appropriate instances of hash to be replaced by sashash.
APT_NO_SASOUT_INSERT
Set the APT_NO_SASOUT_INSERT environment variable to selectively disable the sasout operator insertions. It maintains the other SAS-specific transformations.
APT_NO_SAS_TRANSFORMS
Set the APT_NO_SAS_TRANSFORMS environment variable to prevent InfoSphere DataStage from making certain types of SAS-specific component transformations.
APT_SAS_ACCEPT_ERROR
Set the APT_SAS_ACCEPT_ERROR environment variable prevents the SAS-interface operator from terminating when a SAS procedure causes SAS to exit with an error.
APT_SAS_CHARSET
Set the APT_SAS_CHARSET environment variable to specify which character set to use for ustrings when the -sas_cs option of a SAS-interface operator is not set.
APT_SAS_CHARSET_ABORT
Set the APT_SAS_CHARSET_ABORT environment variable to cause a SAS-interface operator to abort if InfoSphere DataStage encounters a ustring in the schema and neither the -sas_cs option nor the APT_SAS_CHARSET environment variable is set.
APT_SAS_COMMAND
Set the APT_SAS_COMMAND environment variable to override the $PATH directory for SAS with an absolute path to the basic SAS executable.
APT_SASINT_COMMAND
Set the APT_SASINT_COMMAND environment variable to override the $PATH directory for SAS with an absolute path to the International SAS executable.
APT_SAS_DEBUG
Set the APT_SAS_DEBUG environment variable to set debug in the SAS process coupled to the SAS stage.
APT_SAS_DEBUG_IO
Set the APT_SAS_DEBUG_IO environment variable to set input/output debug in the SAS process coupled to the SAS stage.
APT_SAS_DEBUG_LEVEL
Set the APT_SAS_DEBUG_LEVEL environment variable to specify the level of debugging messages to output from the SAS driver.
APT_SAS_DEBUG_VERBOSE
Set the APT_SAS_DEBUG_VERBOSE environment variable to set verbose debug in the SAS process coupled to the SAS stage.
APT_SAS_NO_PSDS_USTRING
Set the APT_SAS_NO_PSDS_USTRING environment variable to prevent InfoSphere DataStage from automatically converting SAS char types to ustrings in an SAS parallel data set.
APT_SAS_S_ARGUMENT
Set the APT_SAS_S_ARGUMENT environment variable to specify a value for the SAS -s argument.
APT_SAS_SCHEMASOURCE_DUMP
Set the APT_SAS_SCHEMASOURCE_DUMP environment variable if you are using SAS Schema Source to cause the command line to be written to the log when executing SAS.
APT_SAS_SHOW_INFO
Set the APT_SAS_SHOW_INFO environment variable to display the standard SAS output from an import or export transaction.
APT_SAS_TRUNCATION
Set the APT_SAS_TRUNCATION environment variable to specify sasin and sas operators determine how to truncate a ustring value to fit into a SAS char field.
