Disk I/O

These environment variables are all concerned with when and how InfoSphere® DataStage® parallel jobs write information to disk.

APT_BUFFER_DISK_WRITE_INCREMENT
The APT_BUFFER_DISK_WRITE_INCREMENT environment variable controls the write to disk chunk size.
APT_EXPORT_FLUSH_COUNT
APT_EXPORT_FLUSH_COUNT controls how often the export operator flushes data to disk.
APT_IO_MAP/APT_IO_NOMAP and APT_BUFFERIO_MAP/APT_BUFFERIO_NOMAP
These environment variables control memory mapped I/O.
APT_PHYSICAL_DATASET_BLOCK_SIZE
APT_PHYSICAL_DATASET_BLOCK_SIZE specifies the block size to use for reading and writing to a data set stage.
