APT_DISABLE_ROOT_FORKJOIN

Set this environment variable to disable a change to the fork-join pattern that was introduced in IBM® InfoSphere® Information Server, Version 8.7.

A change was introduced in InfoSphere Information Server, Version 8.7, so that combination of the root operator of a fork-join pattern is disabled to prevent potential deadlock situations.

To ensure compatibility with Version 8.5, set the APT_DISABLE_ROOT_FORKJOIN environment variable to re-enable buffering of concurrent input operators, such as the funnel operator.

CAUTION:

Setting this environment variable might cause deadlock situations.
