Standardization Quality Assessment Stage page - General tab

Use the Standardization Quality Assessment (SQA) stage to create an SQA report. Use the report to assess whether a standardization job is working the way that you want.

After setting up a job with the SQA stage, you create the two SQA reports by using the IBM® InfoSphere® Information Server Web console. To give you the most complete picture of the standardized data, these reports are intended to be viewed as a pair. Together, they provide summary-level feedback of the processed output from a standardization job.

To create the SQA reports, the following tasks must be completed in the Standardize stage:
  • The output columns of the Standardize stage must be mapped to the input columns of the SQA stage.
  • In the Stage > Properties tab, the SQA Report Output property must be set to True.

All parallel stages have a Stage page, and each Stage page in turn has a General tab.

The page and tab contain the following fields:
Stage name
The name of the stage as it appears on the design canvas. You can edit the stage name in this field.
Description
Optionally add a description of the stage. Adding a description is recommended as it helps the maintainability of jobs. The description appears in any job reports that you generate.
