Overview of InfoSphere Data Click
InfoSphere Data Click provides self-service data integration so that any business or technical user can integrate data that is stored in databases or in buckets on Amazon S3 into Hadoop Distributed File Systems (HDFS) in IBM InfoSphere BigInsights, Amazon S3 buckets, or a databases.

Scenarios for integrating InfoSphere Data Click and InfoSphere BigInsights
You can use InfoSphere Data Click to integrate large volumes of data in a Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS) in InfoSphere BigInsights.   InfoSphere BigInsights can then discover and analyze business insights that are hidden in the large volumes of data.

Creating activities
You create activities to define repeatable data movement configurations. You use the activity creation wizard to specify the source that you want to move data from, the target that you want to move data to, policies that govern how the data is moved, the InfoSphere Information Server engines that you want to use to move the data, and the InfoSphere DataStage®  projects that you want to use in the activities. After you create an activity, users that have access to the activity can run the activity by using the activity run wizard.
